Inaguration Serivce, Sunday May 25, 2008

The first Sunday Worship Service at "Agua Viva" was held on May 25, 2008 at 11:oo am. About 180 people attended the special service. The mother church "Cristo, Arca de Salvacion" came after their regular morning service. Their Pastor, Armando, gave the message from the book of Acts. The mother church also brought the food (carne Asada) and grilled it for the meal afterwards. The congregation "Dios Altisimo" also attended the service with us. There were also many new visitors from the community around the mission, and several regular attenders invited family members and friends.

Diamandy, with help from Jane, Melissa, and Karissa, had a lesson for the children. There were about 70 kids in one classroom! The kids learned about Noah's Ark, and at the end of the service recited their text for the adults.

The ministry team at "Agua Viva" is excited that the mission has taken this next step!

Dave, Israel, Scott

Jana and Jane, Elizabet holding Eliab, Marcia

Eliazar and Esteban, Diamandy, Karissa and Melissa

Praise God!!! I was praying for the service.

I am a member of an OPC church in WA state and recently found your blog and have been keeping up with it. Next month, I will be on Team Baja (led by Dave Crum) and am really looking forward to it!! I have been praying for God's work in Mexico and it has been a blessing to hear more about it from your posts.

May God bless your work for Him!!

I almost passed out looking at that one picture of the little boy in the black polo shirt.

for about 30 seconds (okay, longer, until I clicked on it!) I thought it was Joshua Jae-Min Lee!!!

Whew . .. I know he's getting big, but that would've been ridiculous . . .

blessings,
