Tuesday Projects
One of the first projects was a warranty issue on the bathrooms at "Agua Viva." The door hinges had major problems, but fortunately one of the original builders was here to help fix the problem.
At the Half-way house, work continued on the drywall, most of the outside got a first coat of paint, and another piece of concrete was poured.
The 1st photo is grown men leaning, then kids working. What's up with that?
Yesterday on NBC national news was a story featuring Toys for God's Kids. The cars were being distributed by a Georgia National Guard unit in Afghanistan. Small world, BIG GOD.
The Geurinks work with Christian Reformed World Missions (CRWM) helping the Reformed Presbyterian church of Mexico plant and develop churches in Tijuana by concentrating on five tasks:
Church Planting - Working with local pastors in outreach, home Bible studies, and new mission starts.
Discipleship training - Leading and training leaders in discipleship courses to encourage spiritual growth and develop lay leaders.
Education - Helping to develop and teaching at the new Bible Institute in Tijuana.
Networking - Connecting short-term mission teams from North America with projects in Tijuana.
Administration - Leading CRWM's mission in Mexico as field leader.
Emmanuel, a graduate from the Reformed Bible Institute in Tijuana continues to be a great help at the "Agua Viva" mission. He is helping with the music ministry, some teaching, and visitation.
Prayer Requests
Pray for our evangelism efforts at "Agua Viva" We are visiting families and planning to show an evangelistic movie on Good Friday.
